Create three individual parts, PLATE, ROD and GUIDE and

1. PLATE PART

The dimension of the PLATE part is 56mm(length) and 22mm(width).


The mounting holes of 4mm are 23mm apart and first hole is 16.5mm from the left reference plane. Use relation to have both holes of same diameter and horizontal. The thickness of the PLATE is 10mm

Apply fillet features of radius 1mm to all edges

2. ROD PART

The dimension of the ROD part is 100mm(length) and 10mm(diameter).


Create the holes at front and back of 4mm (diameter) and 10mm length Apply Extruded cut of 7mm(diameter) and 10mm depth to create a front projected part Apply Chamfer feature of depth 1mm at 45 degree angle to front edge Use convert entity and extruded cut to cut a trim of height 6mm and depth 15mm as shown in the ROD.

3. GUIDE PART

SolidWorks

The ROD diameter and PLATE dimensions determine the GUIDE hole diameter and position.
GUIDE height is 50mm, Width 80mm. Rest of the dimensions can be estimated. GUIDE hole centre is at 29mm from its base.

4. GUIDE-ROD assembly

Utilize the ROD, GUIDE and PLATE parts.


The ROD travels through the GUIDE The ROD keyway is parallel to the right surface of the GUIDE. The ROD mounts to the PLATE. The GUIDE mounts to a flat work surface.
