Revolve Feature:
Revolves add or remove material by revolving one or more profiles around a centerline. You can
create revolved boss/bases, revolved cuts, or revolved surfaces. The revolve feature can be a solid, a thin
feature, or a surface.

How to Use Revolve Feature:

1. Create a sketch that contains one or more profiles and a centerline, line, or edge to use as the
axis around which the feature revolves.

2. Click one of the following revolve tools:

 Revolved Boss/Base (Features toolbar) or Insert > Boss/Base > Revolve.

 Revolved Cut (Features toolbar) or Insert > Cut > Revolve.

 Revolved Surface (Surfaces toolbar) or Insert > Surface > Revolve.

3. In the Property Manager, set the options.

4. Click .
Figure # 01

Procedure:
1. Firstly we make lead of a pencil in which we make a circle of a diameter up to 2.5 then we extrude
it up to 185nm.

2. Then we make a wooden frame of it which is hexagon in which we put it into center.
Make wooden casing of it and its diameter around 7 then it becomes and extrude it up
to 185mm it becomes

3. Then we made rubber of pencil which is downward then we select the surface and go to sketch mode
we simply make a circle of 7 and the extrude it and then extrude the rubber up to 10mm and its
diameter is 7mm.
4. Then we design the Ferrule the point where wooden point end we give some fillet 1mm so it
becomes round and revolve it becomes

5. Then we make fillet of pencil on the edges of a hexagon which is around 1mm.
6. Then we make lead of a pencil go to edit sketch in which we take distance of 0.1 then it become

7. Then in last step we render it

Figure # 02

Procedure:

 First we draw a simple sketch

 Then we select the smart dimension command and give the appropriate dimensions.
 Then fill colours in selected area.
 After complete drawing then rendering.
Figure # 03

1) Firstly Revolve the Jack. Measures different measured lines in mm.

2) Afer resolving start ertruding 30 mm.

3) Extruted 30 mm and 10 mm.

4) Extrude 18 mm and introduce a draft angle of 4 degrees. Uncheck merge results.

5) Extrude cut the following sketch and un select the cable from the entities to be cut.

6) Make a fillet of 1 mm as shown.

7) Click on a plane and while holding ctrl move your cursor. It will open a new plane interface.
8) We will be making cable joint on this plane. 5mm Extrude.
9) Draw a plane as shown in the figure at a distance of at least 200 mm.
10) This will use two sketches.
11) Sketch 1 will have the sketch on the cable side. Use Convert Entities.
12) Sketch 2 will use different plane to make a center to center spline.

13) Make a sketch of earbuds but keep in mind to keep a good distance from the jack.

14) (Through 1-2) Make a triangular cut for the wire to come through. Select C-C lines.
15) (Through 3) Make a circle of 5 mm, Extrude 5 mm with a draft angle of 5 degrees.
16) This will use two sketches.
17) Sketch 1 will have the sketch on the cable joint. Draw a diameter of 2 mm.
18) Sketch 2 will be a Sketch 3D which gives the freedom to work in all 3 axis. Make a center to
center spline.

19) Make a new sketch and revolve it.

20) Import the part files.
21) Click Mate.
22) Use Coincident relation between the earbud rubber and rest of earbud plastic.
23) Use width relation to complete the contact definition.

24) After complete the sketching rendering will be started.
