Activity place : Read n Joy (Library) We celebrate our Independence Day on 15th August every year. It is the day when we became independent from the foreign rule after a long and continuous struggle for freedom. The Prime Minister of India unfurls the National Flag over the Red Fort in Delhi on this day. In order to make students aware of this important day, today we organised independence day celebration for classes II A and II B by drawing a picture of our national flag and writing two lines on it. Students did all this activity with great enthusiasm and zeal. The love and respect for our nation can be seen in the little ones and they were able to produce few lines for their national flag in their own language.
