Fultons Classroom Expectations

Welcome to seventh grade science! You should already be familiar with the guidelines for student behavior that are outlined in the middle schools Student Handbook. Please familiarize yourself with the following additional expectations set forth by Mr. Fulton in order to create a successful learning environment. (Most of these are common sense!)

General Classroom Expectations

1. Courteous and respectful behavior is expected at all times. 2. Listen and follow directions the first time they are given. 3. Be prepared for class each day. This includes bringing your book, folder, notebook, and a pencil. 4. Materials around the room are not to be disturbed. This includes other students materials, items on the counters, and items on my desk. 5. If there are materials on your desk for a lab when you enter the room, they are to be left alone until you are otherwise instructed. 6. Treat all materials with care and respect; they are not for entertainment purposes! 7. Leave all cell phones, iPods, tablets, and any other electronic devices at home or in your locker.

Homework/Assignments
1. Assignments should be completed in pencil unless otherwise specified. 2. Late homework assignments will NOT be accepted. 3. Three (3) missing or incomplete homework assignments will result in an afters-school detention. 4. Write legibly. If it is not legible, it will be marked wrong. 5. The first thing you should do on any assignment, is put your name.

Absences
1. If you are absent it is your responsibility to find out what you missed. (Check the folders!) 2. You have the number of days you were absent to turn in any missed assignments.

Effort
1. It is expected that every student works to the very best of their individual ability, no matter how large or small the task. 2. I am always willing to help, as long as you are willing you put forth the effort!
