ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION IN LDC The General Assembly, Recognising that there is a drastic increase in environmental degradation, especially greenhouse gases over the recent years in the less developed countries due to sustainable development Emphasising that pollution knows no boundaries and the effects will be felt worldwide Having studied the mass setting up of new industries and factories and the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation due to population growth Noting further that they are the main causes of sources of environmental degradation Pointing out that this is a global problem which will affect all countries worldwide 1. Recommends that problems to be solved in this following areas a) Research to be done on which processes of industries cause so much energy to be emitted i) Is there a possibility to being able to reduce or censor the energy using processes ii) Could different and cheaper alternatives of energy be substituted for the original

methods of production iii) Other technology that is more environmentally-friendly iiii) advantages on reducing greenhouse gases output which will be both beneficial to the company and the state b) Governments to work closely with companions to reduce greenhouse gases emissions i) Set strict laws and regulations like etc, set a maximum energy usage for factories ii) Companies to work with local and state air authorities to decide which technology works best and is more environment-friendly.
c) Calls for multilateral efforts to ask everybody to play a part in taking care of the environment i) Urging citizens to reduce the use of wood, coal, and oil and instead use more environmentally-friendly products. d) a) Conducting checks on factories to make sure they are within the safety limit of greenhouse gases output

b) Enacting legal action against those found exceeding the safety limit c) Imposing of fines or bans from operation of factories until further notice. Resolves to remain actively seized on this matter.
