ENERGY SAVER FOR STAFF ROOM

Objective: The objective of this project is to save the energy according to the staff presence in the seats in the staff room. We save the energy depends upon the staff sitting in the room. Scope: This project makes the staff room. Brief Methodology: This project is designed with Microcontroller IR transmitter and receiver LCD display Relay with driver circuit The fans & light in the staff room are controlled depends upon the staff sitting in the room.

This project is designed with five set of IR transmitter and receiver, signal conditioning unit. IR transmitter is the one type of LED which emits infrared rays generally called IR transmitter. One important point is that both IR transmitter and receiver it placed in the straight line to each other. In our project we are using five set of IR transmitter and receiver. Each set of IR Transmitter and receiver is placed in the seats of staff room. When supply is on, both the five set of IR transmitter are transmitting rays to the receiver. When any one staff sitting in the staff room. Any one IR rays will cut; the corresponding signal is given to micro controller through signal conditioning unit. Now micro controller, activate the relay. The relay will process until staff sitting the seats inside the staff room. Suppose if he gets up from that seat place the microcontroller wait until one or two minute after that the microcontroller check whether person is sitting the seats or not through IR rays. Incase

the IR rays is cut means the microcontroller continually activate the corresponding relay. The microcontroller continually checking this process or after one minutes the IR not sense means the microcontroller disable the relay. These full process displayed in LCD display. In micro controller we have already programmed. Depends upon the number of staff sitting in the seats, and micro controller activated the relay driver circuit to turn on, turn off the relays. The relay output is directly connected to appliance. Through this way staff room appliances are controlled automatically depends upon the staff sitting seats in the staff room.
