Middletown High School South

Last fall 4,022 runners/walkers took part in this event, raising $44,242 dollars for Middletown school parent organizations. Navesink School had a total of 120 runners/walkers, raising $1,320 (up from $760 in 2011) for our PTA. Enrollment has increased so much that this year there will be individual events for each of the 8, 9, and 10 year-olds. Here is the schedule of events: 5K Run @ 12pm Ages 11-14 @ 1:15pm Age 8 @ 1:45pm Age 9 @ 2:15pm Age 10 @ 2:45pm Anyway 2K @ 3:15pm

This event is meant to foster a sense of health and community among our families. Everyone is encouraged to stay and walk with our entire school community in the Anyway 2K please stay and show your school spirit! Banners are awarded to individual schools for the following: Most Participation Highest % of Enrollment Most Improved Enrollment

While its unlikely Navesink School could bring home the banner for the first bullet (we have a small school ), the next two banners are certainly attainable. Only applications returned before the October 8th deadline will be counted toward the banner qualifications. All applications should be returned to the Navesink School office.
