1. Introduction:
You ask me to write a report on the handout Back to Ottomans on 29th April 2008 in room
no 2s-42 at 2:00P.M. This is about the Islamic values in turkey and problems faced by
Islam regarding the reoccurrence in Turkey. This would explain the changing
environment in turkey regarding politics. It also covers western thoughts about Islam and
Islamic values. It would tell about the present situation of Islam in the world and how
controversies are being created in the Islam regarding different doctrine (SUNNI, SHIA)
and strains (TRADITIONLIST, MODRENIZED ISLAMIST).

3. Conclusion:
From above we can conclude that Islamism is up coming in turkey. Islam is facing
problems about its values application in present age due to the western involvement in the
Islam and controversy created in Islam due to different doctrines and strains. There is
long debate going on regarding the Islamic value’s application in turkey and present
world.
