COMPLEX INTEGRATION speaking writing

First, teacher asked the students what the picture tells about and the meaning of the word given whether in English or Malay. The students try to describe the situation shown from the pictures with the help of the word given. Teacher explained to student words they do not understand. Then, teacher encouraged them to make a sentence with the help of the word given. Teacher asked other students to write the sentence spoke by their friend. The story of the pictures is about cleanliness. Finally, teacher asked them to complete the whole paragraph.

Content-based instruction

The teacher used worksheet as her main reference. Teaching aim for this topic are: Able to write simple sentences with guidance.

Able to describe the pictures given with correct situation. Able to give the meaning of the words. For example, hawker = people selling food on the street.

Theme based instruction

Based on theme world of knowledge. (unit 3: Healthy Living) Students gain information about how importance to keep clean. Students know the importance of preparing a clean food to customers.
