Notice to the Public from CARA Welfare Philippines September 25, 2013

It has come to our attention that certain individuals have been unlawfully and fraudulently using the name of CARA Welfare Philippines in events without the consent and/or knowledge of the appropriate CARA officers to solicit donations from the public. The name of CARA has been and is being used as the alleged beneficiary of the proceeds for various unsanctioned events. It is in the best interest of CARA to protect the general public by issuing this PUBLIC WARNING. The use of the CARA logo alone will not be construed as knowledge or consent on CARAs part unless countersigned by the President of CARA Welfare Philippines. All use of the CARA logo without the signature of both the President of CARA, and its authorized representative will be deemed to be unlawful, fraudulent, and punishable under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. It must be stressed that donations made to individuals possessing no official authorization from CARA is not in any way affiliated with this non- profit organization. Any and all donations turned over to unauthorized individuals are not donations to CARA Welfare Philippines, but donations to the benefit of and for the personal use of these individuals. To ensure that your donations go to the proper recipient, please ask for official authorization allowing the use of the logo and an authorization to accept donations for and on behalf of CARA Welfare Philippines. Any event intending to have CARA as a beneficiary shall be checked with Cherie del Rio . All events will be will be co-signed by President, Nancy Cu Unjieng, and Vice President, Tanya Guerrero; or Signed by Cherie del RioNancy Ci Unjieng or Cherie del Rio-Tanya Guerrero. Events using the CARA name or logo, held and organized without the consent, knowledge and authorization of CARAs official representatives are ILLEGAL and will make any such individual liable under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before you donate, confirm with the proper officers whether or not an individual is an authorized representative of the organization and whether an event is officially sanctioned by CARA.
