Second Month
Settling into the routine The first months of the new school year are finished and the routines in the classroom are beginning to take shape. The initial shock of third grade should be wearing off, and the expectations are becoming clear. We have been extremely busy for the months of September. I say welcome to all, and I encourage all to visit our website at mralbert.weebly.com to keep up with all that is going on in the classroom. Thanks to all of you who sent in Kleenexes, paper towels and soap to help us keep healthy throughout the year!

Literature Circles
Every week the students will receive a new literature circle role on Friday. They have until the next Friday to complete the reading and the role. This is an ongoing assignment, and encourages the students to respond to the literature in a variety of ways. They can always download the forms from the website. Nice job helping out so far, thanks so much!
