Itseems like one of the lord's favorite & recu!
19 themes to expound on
during my personal times with Him is the story of the blind men & the
elephant. It's amazing how much one can get out of one simple story
like that...
The trigger wey a problem in our relationship caused by - let's say
in. 9 on our view of our (piece of} elephant being the right one, the
proper one, the only one. the same cv God's, which is bevically what
pride of salt-righteousess amount to.
The neat thing is, the lord never fails to give the solution in His
eupovurey of the Devil's often hidden workings in our life. OF course,
the first step is to be wi 1g to vee the problem for what it is, and to
believe the lord for what He hey to say about it. That's probably the
toughest part. Next. He says. “move over to the other person's position,
atep inside their shoes & touch & feel & see the elephant the way ey
do." flad piece by piece. person by person, you get to explore a whole
lot more elephant than you thought there ux.
One particularly funny part about this levvon wey the part where He
derctibed that you can be sitting in front of the wrong part of the
elephant. say. one of his lev pretty party (I of course, imagined his
but}, and let thet influence your point of view negatively...
Pevonally. | think it's probably one of the major purposes in life. to
find out fogether what the elephant really is like. There are way too
many mysteries, things God simply seems to hare chosen not to let us
Know, which lead to the conclusion that instead of wanting to reveal
them all to vs in one big supematural flavh, He wanted us to crawl
around in the dirk, along with the other blind men & find out &
experience the elephant by grabbing & touching: Picture them/us:
“Hey. fli, come over here, this thing feels mighty fuany! Oh, and it
tickles your face!"
Maother one hollers: "1 you must come over here, if you hold on to
this trunak-shaped thing, it will move and lift you vp. this iz funt”
Another one squeals: “Oh, no, this funny snake thing is biting my
nose, and it's autul wel...”
Thus we could all have a lot of fun exploring the elephant together &
maybe eventually even discover ways to tide him. Thus, the weapon of
vaity seem to be highly conducive te the ability of
ene may conclude, ing above is cool, but fi
seems to be able te take you even higher...
