Workshop begins at the Saint Louis County Department of Health, 6121 N. Hanley Road, Berkeley, MO 63134, Community Room 1048B (Park on west side of building.) 8:30 Registration and refreshments 9:00 Workshop begins promptly 10:30 Carpool to Material Recovery Center Tour (6025 Byassee Dr., 63042, 2.2 miles from Health Department) 11:30 Return to Health Department to complete stipend paperwork.

How do they separate and handle all of our recyclables? Where do they go? What do they get made into? Come debunk the myths about recycling and learn about what these resources can do for now and future generations.
Get expert help to improve your schools recycling program from special speaker Susanne Reed, Recycling and Marketing Coordinator, Republic Services. Each participant will be given the resources for the newly developed lesson plan Recycling Rules which features and simulates how MRFs work in the classroom. The day will end with a tour of the state-of-the-art Republic Services Materials Recovery Facility.

**All in attendance will receive a $50 stipend!**
