MON 25th Catherine, martyr, 4th cent. Pray for the work of the Mothers Union, and for all they do in our diocese and supporting families worldwide. TUES 26th We give thanks that Malawi has been rated among the 20 best performing countries for making progress on attainable Millennium Development Goals by 2015 according to the joint press statement by African Union, UN Development Programme, African Development Bank and UN Economic Commission for Africa. We pay that their progress will continue. WED 27th Revd Rob Fieldson, from St Andrews, Barnt Green and St Michaels, Cofton Hackett, says: Members of St. Andrews and St. Michaels will be attending a church weekend away at Cloverley Hall in Shropshire from 21st to 23rd September 2013. Please pray for Bishop Andrew, the speaker, for fun and fellowship and for deepening relationships with each other and with God. THURS 28th Please pray for Bishops Council, which meets today. FRI 29th Day of Intercession and Thanksgiving for the Missionary Work of the Church Give thanks for mission and outreach in our city. Pray for those who work in communities, bringing people together and sharing Gods love spiritually and practically. SAT 30th Andrew the Apostle Almighty God, who gave such grace to your apostle Saint Andrew that he readily obeyed the call of your Son Jesus Christ and brought his brother with him: call us by your holy word, and give us grace to follow you without delay and to tell the good news of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
