    MON 16th Pray for doctors, nurses and all who work in hospitals. Pray that God would grant them strength during the Christmas season, and give thanks for all they do. TUES 17th Eglantyne Jebb, Social Reformer, Founder of Save

    Give thanks for the work of Save the Children. Pray for this charity and the work of organisations that work with children, both locally and globally. WED 18th Lord we ask that your Church may act with mercy and wisdom in our financial activities. We pray for the work of any organisation which pursues a just vision of community finance, especially for charities and credit unions in our city. THURS 19th Give thanks for the work of foodbanks across the city and pray for Gods blessing on them. FRI 20th From Revd John Self, of St Johns, Sparkhill: Please pray that God will continue to provide for Sparkhill Foodbank to meet the growing need, currently distributing a tonne of food a week. Also for mens clothing for new arrivals coming for support from countries in crisis to the Narthex Resource Centre in the church. SAT 21st Pray for charities who work with the homeless, particularly during this Christmas period.
