The majority of people surveyed were aged 16-21, but this is the nucleus of my target market. Therefore these peoples views are the ones which will steer vital decisions.

Within the people I surveyed it is clear that Indie is the most popular Genre among the people questioned, showing I have asked people interested in the music I want to focus on. Therefore I can feel confident that the majority of feedback received is with the Indie Genre in mind. 4. Do you watch music videos?

This feedback represents that the majority of the people asked do watch music videos, but not particularly often. As a result I will have to make my music video both interesting and enjoyable, as to spark interest and get people to watch it.

For this I got people to give one reason for why they watch music videos and why they dont. This meant I got a more detailed response on reasons for this. I have established for a lot of people it is essential to follow their artist, so I need to make my own artist respectable. Additionally people often watch videos, just because of the song. Therefore my song choice is vital to making the video a success. Finally a lot of people responded by saying they didnt watch the videos because they didnt have the spare time. Due to this I am going to make sure my video is not too long, in the hope of avoiding this issue.

The majority of the people surveyed said they prefer illustration videos, which could be because they like to focus on the music. Which suits my Indie Genre, where the music normally takes precedence. As a result I felt creating an Illustration music video was best for my genre and a good option in terms of attracting my audience effectively.
