Copia Creative/Applied Materials Inc., Worldwide, Santa Monica, CA
Designed and developed an asp.net intranet data-collection wizard, intended for worldwide usage.
Features included session-persistence, custom-built combobox controls which provided more robust
functionality than standard controls, field and page validations, color and font consistency, and SQL

editable Pivot Table. (2) Developed an ADP-to-SQL interface in Excel. Emulated Excel 2003’s
ListObject with VBA in Excel XP, built on-sheet data-validation, and exported to an ASCII data file.
(3) Created DTS packages and ad-hoc inline OLEDB queries to import Excel and other data, wrote
data-verification queries, and scripted updates and inserts. (4) Scripted SQL login rights. Converted

(1) Programmed an automated a feature-rich Excel Pivot Table reporting system. Completed, in 3
days, a project which had previously taken 3 workers 3 weeks to produce. Expanded the Pivot Table
functionality to provide presentation capabilities not possible with standard Excel Pivot Tables, such
as Subgrouping within DataItems. (2) Designed a custom Pivot Table object class to facilitate plug-
and-play code-reuse of the expanded feature-set. (3) Programmed an online help system, based on
"Clippy", the Microsoft Assistant.

(1) Designed and programmed a Windows Service in Visual Basic to send email-alerts via SMTP and
execute database commands on a daily schedule. (2) Designed and developed an Access database

information. (3) Built database-driven Excel spreadsheets and custom VBA spreadsheet functions to
report statistics.

Programmed synchronous WebStore event sinks using ExOLEDB, VB.NET, Exchange SDK, and
ADODB. Developed custom code which captured new OnSyncSave events and copied the new email
message to a public folder. Programmed and registered a custom Object Oriented ActiveX DLL with
inheritance and WSS file-urls, configured Exchange Server, and registered my custom Windows
COM+ components to run out-of-process.
