Mobilizer for Crossworld

Denny grew up in a large Texas size household, 8 boys and one girl. Being the well balanced middle child, he enjoyed all ball sports and excelled at baseball. The journey began while playing baseball at TCU. It was through a furloughed missionary coming alongside Denny and suggesting he use his sporting skills and his love for Jesus to reach others for Christ throughout Europe. With that encouragement Denny spent three years in Sweden with Athletes in Action using baseball to build bridges that led to sharing the most important decision he had made in his life....to follow Jesus. Returning to his hometown of Dallas, marrying a "missionary girl" from Haiti and involving themselves in the lives of youth ministry while attending Dallas Theological Seminary was all preparation for the ministry that followed. Twelve years they and their four kids served and lived among the Haitian people reaching and focusing their efforts among the business and professional community on that small portion of Hispaniola. Denny also taught Bible, World Religions, Worldview, PE, and sports for eleven years in one of the best English speaking school in Haiti. On January 12, 2010, the day of the 7.2 earthquake that rocked Port au Prince changed many lives including their own. Assisting in relief efforts for many months while his family found refugee back in Texas, he and his family decided to leave Haiti and are currently involved with Crossworld sending organization. Denny is one of Crossworld's Mobilizers embracing the dream of intentionalized "diciple-making from all professions bringing God's love to life in the world's least-reached marketplaces."
