1 Check that all doors, skirting, architrave, cupboards and trimming are complete and according to working drawings. Check that all nails are adequately punched for painters filling. Check that there is a maximum door gap margin of 3mm for sides and top of hinged swinging doors and a maximum gap margin of 20mm between the bottom of the door and the top of any finished floor covering (20mm if strip flooring). Check that architraves are nailed to the doorframe and wall frame and that the door stops are securely nailed. Check that all kitchen joinery and vanities are correctly installed as per plans and details with joinery doors all square and lining up. Check that the manhole cover is in place and fits properly. Check that cavity sliding doors fit correctly and work properly. Check doorstops are not too tight when door is closed. Check that robe door jams are plumb. Check that robe shelves are in position as per plan. Check timber windows for blinding and adjust where necessary. Check all surplus fixing materials are placed in one

13 14 15 room. Check house is swept out and rubbish removed. Check quality of plasterwork and sanding. Check that all cupboard hampers and stairwell framing is complete and ready for plasters to complete where applicable (Plasterers should follow the day after the fix is completed.) Arrange to repair any broken footpaths or crossovers damaged during the course of construction. (Should be complete prior to hand over Inspection).
