Where is Math 2.0?

When we talk about Math 2.0, we are really talking about

the ability to place math on any Social Networking tool.
(what is available today and tomorrow.)
Where is Math 2.0?

‣Mathematics on the web is more than sharing word

documents, pdfs, movies or images.
‣It is the ability for anyone at any skill level to place
mathematics on a website.
Where is Math 2.0?
Mathematics on the web should be
‣Searchable (we should be able to search by mathematical
equations)
‣Scalable (font sizes should be able to change sizes to fit
the environment or to become large enough for the legally
blind)
‣Readable (in reader technology for use with the blind)

Here is an example of
how Pearson Ed gives
students the ability to
answer questions
online - using a palette.
Additional palettes are
available and only
needed icons are
typically displayed.
This is a flash-based
