Bridge Reading Homework 10/22/13

Homework Reading Read pages 22-33 in Strength in What Remains and answer the questions. Make sure to use complete sentences in all your answers. You can write directly on the question sheet. Put your name and the date at the top. Writing Write one or two paragraphs on the place where you study. This could be a room in your house or an outside location like a library. Use descriptive details to give the reader a good picture of that place: what objects are in it, how the light is, whether you hear any sounds, etc. Also explain why you study there and how you feel in that space. This is your first portfolio assignment, so make sure to carefully edit and proofread it before you turn it in. It must be typed. Consider this a very good draft. I will give you feedback on it, and you may make some more corrections before you finalize it for your portfolio. Grammar In Grammar and Beyond, review pages 4-5 and read page 6 about sentence structure about sentence structure. Do the exercises on page 7.
