This lesson plan from Our Lady's Catholic Primary School aims to teach students in years 1 and 2 how to tell time on an analogue clock. The teacher will use a visualizer to project an analogue clock onto the whiteboard and have students use the interactive whiteboard to move the clock hands to the correct positions for different times. The visualizer allows for an engaging large visual for the class and easy capture of student work for future lessons.

How the visualiser was used?
The visualiser was used to project a clock face from a worksheet the children were going to complete later that session. The children then used the interactive whiteboard pens to draw the hands on the clock for the given time. We were then able to capture this into notebook and use this to discuss the correct position of the hands on subsequent sessions. The benefits of the Visualiser to teaching & learning: • Instant visual resource • Large image projection for whole class • Can be captured and used in notebook • Can be used in conjunction with the interactive whiteboard • Quick to set up • Ease of use for staff and children • Motivational – children want to have a go
