Reading Students will practice reading comprehension strategies. Our focus this week is using non- fiction texts, primarily about Paul Revere. We will also begin reading about the Pilgrims voyage on the Mayflower. Spelling Week Eleven (-dge, -ge endings) badge, dodge, bridge, judge, rage, page, stage, cage, charge, range, change, sponge Bonus: bedrock, subsoil, erosion, weathering Writing - Students will continue to learn continue learning Six + 1 Traits of Writing with a focus on ideas and organization. This week we are writing about Paul Revere Math Students will review the skills related to the concept of multiplying. We are skipping ahead to Module 9. Science We will continue our unit on Soil. Social Studies We will continue our first historical figure study on Paul Revere.
