Reading Students will continue reading Mr. Poppers Penguins. We will use the authentic text to expand our vocabulary and comprehension skills. We will also practice using adjectives. Spelling: Week 18 Adding ed to VC, VCe, VVC and VCC: planned, grabbed, dropped, saved, closed, liked, waited, seemed, shouted, helped, called, mixed Bonus: environment, ecosystem, habitat, inference Writing Student will write response to literature and opinion pieces inspired by Mr. Poppers Penguins. Math Students will continue working on area and problem. solving. Science Students will continue their study of Georgia Regions and the plants and animals that live there. Social Studies Students will begin learning about Franklin D Roosevelt.
