Next Week

Bible: We will focus on how to have thankful hearts. We will talk about how an attitude of gratitude should be something we practice every day. Math: We will continue counting, reading, writing, and ordering the numbers 0-10. Social Studies: We will continue learning about Thanksgiving, Pilgrims, and Native Americans. Science: As we continue to learn about the seasons, we will focus on the winter season. Reading: We will be reading the story A Turkey for Thanksgiving as well as other Thanksgiving books. We will also be practicing retelling this story. Handwriting We will continue working on first names using upper and lower case letters. We will be reviewing how to write the letters Bb, Rr, and Ff.

Other Important Information

As it is beginning to get very cold outside, please always send your child with a hat and gloves/mittens for when we go outside to recess. If your childs grandparent is not coming to Grandparents Day, we will be sending home the projects that your child did for them so that you can get it to them. If you notice that a project came home for a grandparent who IS COMING to Grandparents Day, please send it back to school. Thanks!
