RonaldReaganHighwaywasoriginallyplannedtoextend eastwardtoMilford,butlocaloppositiontotheprojectin IndianHillforcedplannerstoabandonthesegmenteastof Montgomery.Instead,itcontinuespastInterstate71asa shortdividedhighwayuntilitmergeswithMontgomery Road(U.S.Route22/StateRoute3)neartheMontgomery HeritageDistrict.
