Recycle madness is a part of a four part environmental series. Recycle Madness will be held in Red Square, located at Salisbury University, 1101 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, MD. Recycle Madness is a competition between recognized student organizations to see which RSO can deliver the most pounds of recyclables. Students are encouraged to bring clean aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic, cardboard, paper, and tin to the collection site in Red Square, says SGA President Katherine Mooney. Prizes will be rewarded to each student who brings at least three pounds of acceptable materials to recycle. RSOs must bring in at least 50 pounds of acceptable materials and have one member volunteering at the event to receive participation credit. The RSO that provides the largest amount of recyclable material receives $100 to their organization. The second place RSO will receive $50 to their organization. ###
