    Yes. He said that neither he nor anyone else in the Chief of Staffs office, to his knowledge, got any call from the
    Saudis or told Clarke to do anything. Significantly, though, he recalls "being aware" of the request or the issue as
    early as Sept. 11 or 12. By the way, I just learned from PZ that both Bush and Cheney denied having been
    called by the Saudis on this matter. Bush said the first he knew about it was when he read about it in the
    newspaper.

    Were you at the meeting with Card? If so, do you recall what Card said with regard to the Saudi flights?
    Diana tells me there is no MFR so I am searching for someone with the facts.
    Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
