Just like most people, I have bits and pieces of each learning process in me. But there is just one style that works best in all circumstances in my life. That is Kinesthetic earning. I found this information out when I noticed I learn better and retain more knowledge when I actually do things for myself. I can sit and listen to others or see other people do certain things but I cannot remember what needs to be done unless I take the initiative and do it on my own. In high school I struggled with math. !y ninth grade "lgebra I teacher did not teach the way I needed to be taught. #he always did the work without taking the time out to show the students how to solve the problems correctly. This affected me because when I tried to do my homework I was completely lost because I did not understand what I was doing. It took a toll on my grades because I never really grasped the concept of the work we were doing. I began to fail that class. $ventually my mother hired a tutor and I was able to work the problems out and obtain the steps that needed to be taken in order to solve e%uations. It all became easier. &ow I am much better in math because I take action and do the work myself. 'inding out what kind of learner I am impacted my life in all areas.
