Informants Profile

Informant A is a 71 year old client who lived in Labangon, Cebu City. She verbalized to be physically, verbally, and emotionally abused. She is a widow who stayed with the son of his late husband before she was transferred in Seven Sisters of Servants of Mary Elderly Home. Informant was already bedridden in the course of the interview and she passed away last September 2013, a week after. She was reconciled with her stepson on her deathbed. Informant B is a 60 year old client from Negros Oriental. She did not marry and lived together with her aunt which is the sister of her mother. Client verbalized that she was physically, verbally, and emotionally abused by her aunt. She was transferred in Seven Sisters of Servants of Mary Elderly Home last May 2013 with the help of their mayor.

Informant C is a 73 year old client from Ozamis Oriental. She verbalized to be emotionally and verbally abused by her nephew. She did not marry and lived with her sister as an extended family member. She was transferred in Blessed Mother Josephine Vannini Home for the Aged last October 2000 with the help given by her employer in Cebu. She confronted her nephew with regards to her abusive experiences and managed to reconcile with them.

Informant D is a 74 year old divorced client who lived in Talisay City, Cebu. She verbalized to be verbally and emotionally abused. She stayed with her nephew as an extended family member. She was transferred in Blessed Mother Josephine Vannini Home for the Aged last August 2013 with the help of her sister.
