Subject: A Woman Got Stabbed Date: December 4, 2021

This is an initial report about a woman who was stabbed, at Sampaloc San Rafael Bulacan. This case was
reported to this office at 10:00 pm., September 25, 2018 by PSUPT Victorino Valdez, Chief, Norzagaray
PNP at San Rafael Bulacan Station. Desk Officer of precinct no.3

Investigation revealed that about 9:00 pm September 25, 2018, At the KTV Bar, where the victim works,
she and her sister were invited by the suspect to eat some porridge. While the victim of the sister,
Jayme Arcega drove the motorcycle, the suspect and victim are at the back of Jayme Arcega, the victim
and suspect were fighting, and Jayme Arcega can't drive properly so she stopped, the suspect and victim
are still fighting while they stopped, suddenly the suspect applies force and slapped the victim. Jayme
Arcega, sister of the victim stopped the suspect, but he resisted, Jayme Arcega leaves and call for help. It
was then the suspect stabbed the victim, when the people and Jayme Arcega arrived, they leave the
vicinity.

The victim was Julie Ann Arcega, Filipino, about 30 years old, about 5’4 feet tall, brown complexion,
resident of San Rafael Bulacan, and a stay-in waitress of KTV Bar. The victim was helpless when the
incident happened.

This case is to be further investigated.

Subject: Julie Ann Arcega, Who was stabbed, found to be Pregnant Date: December 5, 2021

For: The Chief, Homicide Section Time: 1:30-3:00 PM FS

This is a progress report about a woman who was stabbed, at Sampaloc San Rafael Bulacan. This case
was reported to this office at 10:00 pm., September 25, 2018 by PSUPT Victorino Valdez, Chief,
Norzagaray PNP at San Rafael Bulacan Station. The initial report of this case was submitted on
Septmeber 27, 2018 under the same case number.

Through a follow-up investigation, the suspect identified as Jayson Bidaja y Santos, 32 years old, single, a
regular customer at the KTV Bar, a friend of the victim, resided at San Rafael Bulacan, he was identified
by the Barangay Chairman of San Rafael Bulacan.

According to the sister of the victim, Jayme Arcega, around 9:00 pm of September 25, 2018, together
with their friends, they are enjoying at the KTV Bar, when the suspect, Jayson Bidaja, invited her to eat
some porridge. Jayme Arcega also asked her sister, Julie Ann Arcega to go with them, and he agreed.
Jayme Arcega drove the motorcycle, the suspect and victim are at the back of Jayme Arcega, the victim
and suspect were fighting, and Jayme Arcega can’t drive properly so she stopped, the suspect and victim
are still fighting while they stopped, suddenly the suspect applies force and slapped the victim. Jayme
Arcega, sister of the victim stopped the suspect, but he resisted, Jayme Arcega leaves and call for help. It
was then the suspect stabbed the victim, when the people and Jayme Arcega arrived, then the suspect
leaves the vicinity.

Julie Ann and Jayme Arcega became close to Jayson Bidaja, a regular customer at the bar that they work
for as waitresses. Jayme looks back on when Bidaja started becoming aggressive and ill-tempered. Julie
Ann recalls the time Bidaja assaulted and stabbed her, which put her life and her baby's life at risk.

The sister revealed that the suspect Jayme Bidaja, admires her and her sister Julie Ann Arcega, she also
stated that when they rejected the suspect, then he began to change his attitude and began to be ill-
tempered.

According to the doctor of the Baliuag District Center Hospital, the victim was brought to the hospital
with stab wounds, and when they examined the victim, the doctor found out that she was pregnant and
the baby is at risk.

In view of these revelations, the theory of heated argument with frustrated murder is the most probable
motive to be pursued in this investigation.

Subject: Frustrated Murder, With Unintentional Abortion Date: December 7, 2021

This is the Final report about a woman who was stabbed, at Sampaloc San Rafael Bulacan. This case was
reported to this office at 10:00 pm., September 25, 2018 by PSUPT Victorino Valdez, Chief, Norzagaray
PNP at San Rafael Bulacan Station. A copy of its initial report is attached hereto, marked as Exhibit “A”.

At September 25, 2018, 11:00 pm, the victim identified as was Julie Ann Arcega, Filipino, about 30 years
old, about 5’4 feet tall, brown complexion, resident of San Rafael Bulacan, and a stay-in waitress of KTV
Bar. A copy of progress report is also enclosed herewith, marked as exhibit “B”.

The doctor of the Baliuag District Center Hospital, stated that the victim was brought to the hospital
with stab wounds, and when they examined the victim, the doctor found out that she was pregnant and
the baby is at risk. The medical report is attached in this report, marked as Exhibit “C”.

With the pregnancy result, it was hard for the doctor to perform stitches needed to close the stab
wounds of the victim. The life of the victim and her baby is at risk while they were operating.

According to the victim, Julie Ann Arcega, she was upset with the suspect because of his laziness, they
fought about the issue, when suddenly she was helplessly slapped, beaten, and stabbed by the suspect.
When she arrives at the hospital and found out she was pregnant, she was shocked and worried about
the baby. “Talagang binubugbog na po ako. Kumbaga, nakaupo na ako, nakahiga na ako. Pinagsusuntok,
pinagsisipa po ako. Parang hindi ko na kayang lumaban kasi lalaki po iyun pero lumalaban ako eh,” the
victim stated . “Hindi ko [naramdaman 'yung saksak]. Nakita ko na lang sa may liwanag, may dugo na po
ako. Tapos, nakita ko 'yung bituka ko nakalabas,” she also added.

About September 25, 2018, 11:00 pm, Jayson Bidaja was apprehended while celebrating at the KTV Bar.
When the suspect was apprehended, he was drinking and singing. Also found in his possession was a
knife with the blood satin of the victim, the knife was recovered by the arresting officers.

In his signed confession, the suspect identified as Jayson Bidaja y Santos, 32 years old, single, a regular
customer at the KTV Bar, a friend of the victim, resided at San Rafael Bulacan, he was identified by the
Barangay Chairman of San Rafael Bulacan.

The suspect revealed that about 9:00 pm September 25, 2018, At the KTV Bar, where the victim works,
he invited the victim and her sister to eat some porridge, the sisters agreed to go with him since they are
friends. On the way to the place, he and the victim fought because of his laziness while riding. Julie Ann
Arcega was upset and argued with Jayson Bidaja and told him “Ano bang problema mo? Hindi naming
gusto yang lugaw mo, makakabili din kami niyan” it was then the suspect got angry and slapped the
victim, Jayme Arcega stopped him, but due to his strength, he pushed Jayme Arcega away. Jayme Arcega
leaves the place and asked for help. He admitted that due to the nagging of the victim, he stabbed her
because he is annoyed. A strong desire was formed in his mind – to kill the victim.

The suspect also revealed that he admires the sister ever since that’s why he always visited the KTV Bar.
He was first in loved with Julie Ann Arcega, but she wants to remain friends with Jayson Bida, then he
courted the sister of the victim, Jayme Arcega, but he got rejected. Since then, his attitude changed and
he easily got angry and ill-tempered. “Eh parang nabasted po siya. Lagi na siyang galit sa akin mula
noon,” the victim stated.

“Allegedly, sabi ng suspek natin sa sobrang kalasingan at medyo hindi nagkaintindihan kaya niya nagawa
iyon. Inamin niya naman na siya ang may gawa ng pananaksak,” Supt. Victorino Valdez of San Rafael
police stated.

About 9:00 pm September 25, 2018, Jayme Arcega, 29 years old, single, sister of the victim and also a
waitress at the KTV Bar, a native of San Rafael Bulacan, saw how the suspect slapped and stabbed her
sister.

The victim Julie Ann Arcega, together with the baby in her womb was treated.

After taking down their respective written confessions, the following people are the witness:

1. Jayson Bidaja y Santos, 32 years old, single, a regular customer at the KTV Bar, a friend of the
victim, resided at San Rafael Bulacan. –The suspect, arrested for the Crime of Frustrated Murder
With Unintentional Abortion
2. Julie Ann Arcega, Filipino, about 30 years old, about 5’4 feet tall, brown complexion, resident of
San Rafael Bulacan, and a stay-in waitress of KTV Bar. –The Victim
3. Jayme Arcega, Filipino, single 5’4 feet tall, brown complexion, resident of San Rafael Bulacan,
and a stay-in waitress of KTV Bar. – Sister of the Victim

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances concerning the arrest of the suspects, the
recovery of the stolen property and the fatal weapon, this case is considered SOLVED/CLOSED.

The corresponding charges will be filed with the Prosecutor’s Office.
