Materials and/or Equipment: Piano keyboard Sheet music for Rock-a-Bye Baby Sheet music for Waltzing Matilda Xylophones Didgeridoo CD with recordings of Waltzing Matilda and Rock-a-Bye Baby Activities and Procedures: Anticipatory Set: Review Rock-a-Bye Baby and possibly add xylophone part. Lesson Sequence: Discuss Australia and Australian music Teach Waltzing Matilda and sing with CD Introduce, discuss, and demonstrate the didgeridoo Extras: At the Hop Closure: Review the main points of the class and thank students for their participation Modifications for Individual Differences: Modify songs, movements, or instruments as needed for students with physical disabilities of any kind. Evaluation: Evaluate performance based on participation and active involvement with the songs and associated movements. Assignments: None
