Students are instructed to get their daybooks and sit in their assigned seats. They are to write in their daybooks about their rights and responsibilities at school and in life by making lists or writing in sentences. Students are also told to glue a vocabulary worksheet into their daybooks, take out their homework on hopes and dreams, and complete final copies of assignments in their "Who Am I" books on favorite places, hopes and dreams, and rights and responsibilities. Flashcards are assigned as homework.
