Set and Check External Alarms


Check and Set Alarm Mapping
To check and set (if required) the alarm mapping in RI: 1. At BTS NEM from the main window select the Tree View. 2. In the Tree View select [Active Alarms]. 3. Check that there are no active alarms. 4. Check that there are no active external alarms. For outdoor BTS, the following two alarms indicate the opening of the doors:
BTS1, BTS_EXT, Door / Window alarm (N_03) BTS1, BTS_EXT, Door / Window override (N_04) (if the key inside the power cabinet is

switched). 5. In the Tree View select Remote Inventory then select the "Active Alarms" tab. 6. In the "Active Alarms" tab double click on any alarm to display the alarm mapping. The "Modify Remote Inventory" window opens. Check the alarms: For MBI: Check that the alarms are declared in a one to one mapping (01->01, 02>02...) only for the installed alarm cables as shown in the list below for alarms not declared set them to 255 (disabled) MBI Alarms to be configured:

For MBO (AC or DC) check that the alarms are declared in a one to one mapping (01->01, 02->02...) for all alarms from 1 to 24. If they are different, set them as required: Choose the alarm Enter the new value. The following alarms shall be configured for MBO:

MBOE-DC Alarms to be configured

MBOE - AC Alarms to be configured:

7. When finished, select Apply RI Changes and click on [OK]. Wait for the update to be finished. 8. Close the "Modify Remote Inventory" window. 9. In the Tree View select Active Alarms 10. Check that there are no active alarms.
