Whats New
We had another wonderful week in Kindergarten! The students learned all about the _at word family and created words that rhyme with at. We also discussed the difference between a fact and an opinion by creating a Tchart with facts about autumn and our opinions about autumn. The students enjoyed sharing their thoughts on the change on the seasons. Next week we are going to learn all about pumpkins! The class is going to explore the life cycle of plants by creating Pumpkin Planters on Wednesday. We are also going to estimate how many pumpkin seeds are in the pumpkin jar and taste baked pumpkin seeds. It is going to be a great time!

Family Project
Please remember to continue working on this months family project, The Family Pumpkin. We are excited to see how creative and different each pumpkin will be! Return pumpkins by October 18, so we can display them in the hallway for all the school to see.

No school on Monday, October 14 If you have not done so, please send in one medium size pumpkin by Tuesday, October 15. Please check our class calendar weekly to see if it is your childs week to bring snack. Read with your child for 15 minutes each night. Please return Thursday. library books by
