The Rights and Responsibilities for Religious Freedom: Muslims Freedom.

Muslims Freedom When I was at the Library I saw history books on religion. I thought that that would be a good idea because most people dont know about different religions. My mom and I were talking about history topics when she brought up the book we saw at the library. I said what about religious freedom? We then started naming different religions to do and my mom never heard of the Islamic culture, so I knew instantly that would be my topic. I started out my research by different kinds of websites that told how the Islamic culture works. I continued this research for about 4 days. After I wrote down some facts I read some books on slavery. I learned that most of the slaves were Muslims. When I finished reading several books I went back to websites. I researched speeches people gave on religious freedom and what happened to them after they gave the speech. This included me with plenty of background information. I also watched videos on interviews with spiritual leader. This would give me information how people reacted on know there was a mosque in town. A spiritual leader actually got death threats because he was a Muslim. I chose the website because I never knew how to make a website and I wanted to learn. My teacher also thought it would be a great idea because its easier to state a reason. Today technology is a big concept in our society. I thought it would be a great idea to do something that connected to whats new today. I used the pictures in my websites to show what Muslims searching for freedom look like. I included Malcolm X because he gave a speech trying to get freedom. (He was a Muslim). My project relates to the NHD theme because Im stating they need more rights because they didnt get as much as other people. I state that they used to be slave, they were accused of being terrorist, and Muslims arent allowed in certain stores. They need more responsibilities because some Muslims arent able to do the same things others are. In the past Muslims were forced to work for other people because of their religion. They had to work in the hot sun all day. The relation in my project to the NHD theme, rights and responsibilities is also that I stated that they need more freedom.
