Teen comedy iconography

Typical Teen comedy character: 1. There is a funny main character(s) with not as funny characters to make the main characters even funnier 2. The crazy person who does the most unnecessary things at the most inconvenient time (i.e Alan from The hangover series) 3. The person who does mind going on an adventure and having a good time( i.e Lou from hot tub time machine) 4. The boring guy (i.e Fogell from super bad) 5. The nerd(s) (I.e Napoleon from napoleon dynamite) 6. A ordinary kid (i.e Dave from kickass) Teen comedy setting: The typical setting would be nearly anywhere because it could be based in a school scenario, a wedding hall, a normal household or even in an office space. The only place where you cannot have a teen comedy is a dark and hostile scenario because it will make it feel like a horror film, or a scary movie. Teen comedy use of props: Teen comedies use a lot of props to emphasize their jokes or to add hysterics to the movies and to make people relate to some scenes. Questions the audience may ask themselves while watching the movie: 1. Why are they going to do that for? 2. How are they going to do that? 3. What makes them do this sort of stuff? What you usually see in a teen comedy: 1. Teenagers going crazy and having fun 2. People acting cool but looking like fools in front of girls 3. Some people take the mic out of others and make fun of them Peoples attitudes, values and beliefs towards teen comedies: 1. They watch them to be entertained 2. To be relaxed while watching the film 3. They want to laugh at the movie and have fun
