Reference Services: the librarians, staff, and students of the Park Library are happy to assist students and answer

questions. You can contact a librarian by chat, e-mail, telephone, or by visiting the Reference Desk on the second floor of the library. For more complex research, you can schedule one-on-one consultation with a subject librarian.

The Book Checkout desk: Students can checkout books, reserve study rooms, put books on hold or pick holds up.

We have 6 group rooms available for reservation no longer than one week in advance and 12 rooms for first-come first-served basis. We have 3 individual roons available on first-come first-served basis. All rooms have a whiteboard and markers are available upon request. Laptops are available to be checked out in the rooms. We also have headphones, phone chargers, calculators, and whiteboards on wheels available for checkout. It is important to bring you campus ID with you to check out anything.

Documents on Demand: Is CMU Libraries Interlibrary Loan, Scans on Demand and MeLCat services department. Students, faculty, and staff can request articles (Including digital copies of articles we own in print), books chapters, audiobooks, movies, music through their On Demand (Illiad) account. Course Reserves: located on the third floor in the Mary Dow Reading Room, this is where students pick up and use
materials their professors have put on Reserve.

Computers & Printing: There are 350 computers available for public use in the library. The library also has 5

black-and-white printers and 1 color kiosk printer. It also has 2 document scanners that can save to a USB drive, or to Google Drive, fax (for free!), send directly2F-BC-A-Z to a users smart phone, email or print.

Student Disability Services. The addition of these valuable services to the library building create a space for students to receive help, not only with their research, but with the added assistance necessary to succeed at CMU.

Many of the resources we provide are available from the comfort of your home through our website. Go to library.cmich.eduto access journals, electronic bookss and more! And remember, if you get stuck you can chat with a librarian for real-time assistance.
