We noticed that the Thailand flag uses the same colors as the American flag.
The red on the flag symbolizes the blood of life. The white on the flag represents the purity of Buddhist faith. The blue and white stripes were added during World War 1.

Thailand is near a lot of seas.


Thailand is near the Laccadive Sea Thailand is near the Andaman Sea. Thailand is also near the South China Sea.

Thailand has some tall mountains.


Doi Inathon is the tallest mountain at 2,580 miles high. The shortest mountain is Doi Liam at 1,986 miles high. Some mountains have Buddhist worship areas on top.

There are a lot of people in Thailand.


The population in Thailand of 2013 was 67,108,507 people. The last census was 2010. The population in 2004 was 64,865,526.

We would like to try and eat some of Thailands foods and deserts. Khao Man gai-chicken and rice is the tenth favorite food in Thailand. Gai med ma chicken and cashew nuts are the fifth favorite food in Thailand. Tom yam Goong is the first favorite food in Thailand.
