Seeking part-time mentors for educational consultancy

Bridge International Education is an educational consulting firm in Beijing. We recruit a diverse group of leaders with a record of achievement who work to expand educational and career opportunities for students from non-English speaking countries, beginning by mentoring the students for overseas college applications and career advice. Rate $30-$50/hr commensurate with qualifications and experience Requirements Graduated from a top university in the US or UK with at least a bachelors degree (top 30 universities in the 2014 US News College rank ing, and top 10 universities in the 2013 Times University ranking) English proficiency: native speaker level, very strong in English writing. Demonstrated achievements in writing preferred (e.g. high school/college newspaper reporter/editor, award winner for writing contests, etc.) A passion for mentoring students and expanding the educational and career opportunities for students from non-English speaking countries Demonstrated leadership ability and superior interpersonal skills to motivate others Demonstrated achievement in academic, professional, extracurricular, and/or volunteer settings Strong communication skills to effectively express yourself and communicate with students from different cultures Attention to detail and ability to deliver before deadlines Responsibilities Consulting students who wish to apply to university in the US or UK, designing action plans and guiding them through the application process Providing students with accurate information and tailored career advice in the relevant field Revising and editing students essays, for problems regarding language, content and structure While we are primarily looking for part-time mentors, there are also a limited number of full-time, salaried educational consultant positions available
