The planning, design and operation of WECS connected to a utility grid requires study of various available options and prediction of system performance under normal and various abnormal conditions. Wind energy has become a prominent source in the present global energy picture. Wind is free, clean, Eco-friendly form of energy and inexhaustible energy source. n our country various !indy regions have been identified, having potential for generating electricity. "ne of the prime conditions for utili#ing !ind energy is $no!ledge of site%location and meteorological data. n addition to above, it demands good $no!ledge of !ind related characteristics such as, a. &ocation %or selection of site, b. 'ir density and !ind speed velocity, c. nfluence of height of installation above ground, d. choice of !ind turbine generator, e. (rid connected or stand alone for remote areas. i.e. )tili#ation of po!er f. Wind po!er density and annual energy generation. *ethodology for the + Selection of Wind farm site and Wind Turbine %Electric (enerator ,WT(% WE(-. based on the Technical and Economical analysis training required from the experts to implement the !ind po!er pro/ect at a specific !indy site !ith an optimum WE(.

2. SOLAR POWER PROJECT

Solar energy is a very large, inexhaustible source. The po!er from the Sun intercepted by the Earth is approximately 0.1 x 2324 *W, !hich is many thousands of times larger than the present consumption rate on the earth of all commercial energy source. Thus in principal, solar energy could supply all the present and future energy needs of the !orld as a continuous basis. This ma$es it one of the most promising of the unconventional energy sources.5hoto-voltaic ,56- solar energy conversion is one of the most attractive non conventional energy sources of proven reliability from micro !atts to mega !atts level. *ethodology for the + Selection of Solar farm site and S56 Technology . based on the Technical and Economical analysis training is required from the experts to implement the Solar po!er pro/ect at a specific Solar site !ith an optimum Solar Technolofy.
