JOHNSON COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE AND VALA GALLERY/STUDIOS HOST FUNDRAISER FOR NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS RIGHT WEEK EXHIBIT In preparation for the 2014 Johnson County National Crime Victims Rights Week Recognition Art Exhibit, VALA Gallery & Studios in Mission, SAFEHOME and the Johnson County District Attorneys Office are hosting a fundraising event at the gallery on February 22nd from 2:00 5:00pm. Live and silent auction items will be available including locally-crafted artwork, gift baskets and gift cards/certificates for local products and services. Proceeds from this event will help to ensure this vital awareness event will continue on as this communitys annual tribute to victims of crime. The theme for the 2014 National Crime Victims Rights Week is 30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice. The theme commemorates the 30th anniversary of the enactment of the U.S. Victims of Crime Act (VOCA). Please consider joining us for an afternoon of food, music and bidding.
