Cross-Cultural Solutions to announce Culture Week events

Cross-Cultural Solutions (CCS) will be announcing the times and places of the swing dancing lesson, salsa dancing lesson, and Accafellas concert they will be sponsoring during their Culture Week happening during the week of November 17, 2013 at Michigan State University. The announcement will take place at 49 Abbot Rd, East Lansing, Michigan in the MSU Union Ballroom A on November 1, 2013 at 7 p.m. CCS Campus Ambassadors Alicia Vignoe and Daniel Sherwood will announce the dates, times and places, and Steven Rosenthal, founder of CCS will be giving a short speech. Our goal for the event is to bring even more cultural awareness to the MSU campus. We want to start being a part of cultural awareness not only during the duration of one of our volunteers trips, but before and after, as well. said Rosenthal. CCS will focus on why Culture Week is important to Michigan State University and discuss the importance of having a week dedicated to learning and having hands-on involvement with different cultures. They will discuss how Culture Week compares to a week volunteering abroad in one of their 12 destinations. Cross-Cultural Solutions is a nonprofit organization that facilitates volunteer trips abroad to Africa, Asia, and Latin America. They feature safe, customizable trips up to 12 weeks long, and most destinations are open year-round.
