Whenagovernmentorterroristorganizationisinflictingpainanddeathuponcivilians,military interventioncanoftenstopthedamage. Militaryinterventioncanalsoforcecorruptforeigngovernmentstodisbandandstepdown, savingcountriesfromcorruptionandharm. Militaryinterventionisoftenlegallysanctionedbyaninternationalorganization,suchasthe UnitedNations.Thissupportandlegalityallowstheactionstobejustifiedandnotlookedupon negativelybyforeignnations.Thesupportalsoensuresthatforcescomefromaroundthe globe,ratherthanjustfromonecountry. Militaryinterventionisalastresort,usedwhenpeacefulmethodsofinterventionare unsuccessful. Militaryinterventioncanpotentiallydeterfuturecorruptandtyrannicalgovernmentsfrom developing.Seeingcorruptgovernmentsdestroyeddefinitelyhelpstokeepnewindividuals fromcreatingasimilargovernment. Disadvantagesthatothergroupscanuseagainstus disadvantages:Militaryinterventionisanextremelyviolentanddrasticmeasurethatshouldbe undertakenonlyifextremelynecessary.Unfortunately,governmentsoftenfailtoconsider peacefuloptions,progressingimmediatelytoviolence.Duetothisdesiretoimmediately choosetheviolentoption,interventionsoftenarenotsanctioned.Congresstypicallydoesnot getasay,nordoestheU.N.Ignoringinternationalsupportandsanctioningoftenmeansthat theinterventionisunsuccessfulduetolackofsupport.Therearenotroopssentinfromother countries,andthoseresponsiblefortheinterventionareoftenadmonished. Militaryinterventionscauseagreatdealofdeathsofmilitarypersonnelsentintoeliminatethe conflict.Thereisnointernationalframeworkinplaceformilitaryintervention,especiallyoutside

    ofEurope.Withoutaninternationalframework,decisionsandresponsibilitiesareoftennot wellconsidered.Thereisnooversightfortheintervention,leadingtoproblems.Withoutrules andguidance,interventionsoftenfail,whetherbecauseofpoorstrategyorlackofsupport.
