1. If there are safer alternatives on the market, why not change? Why wont corporations change?

Corporations will not change because the money flowing for them. They are gaining money from the demand of their toxic products, and will not change until the demand changes. 2. What would be the benefit of making plastic infinitely recyclable? The benefit would be less production of plastic, reducing the waste of the Earth. 3. Instead of cheerleading plastic as a cheap and disposable material, why not cherish it as the finite and valuable material it is? Describe several examples of how used plastic is valuable. Plastic is valuable through its use for packaging. Without it, our food would be more exposed dirt or diseases without the protection of packaging. Without plastic, many of our modern electronics would weigh much more and not be light enough to be portable. 4. What should our relationship be with synthetic materials? (in this case plastic) Human relationships should be take what you only need, and reuse as much as possible. We use too much plastic in our lives, and throw away the rest carelessly. We should reuse what we can, and reduce our intake. 5. What does it mean when products are downcycled? It means reusing products into products that have less quality. 6. Name one thing that is made from plastic that you can change to a non-plastic item today (easy). Name one thing that will be very difficult to find a non-plastic replacement. Soap. A very difficult replacement would be cars.
