Procedures a. Preliminary activities 1. Opening prayer 2. Cheking of attendance b. Motivational activity The students are task to identify the different seeds and its common name, English name and scientific name. c. Lesson proper

Teachers activity Define seed. Name two types of cotyledon. Name some parts of monocot seed.

Students activity - A small embryonic enclosed in a covering called the seed coat. Monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous seeds. Seed coat, hilum, micropyle,

cotyledon, plumule and radicle. Name some parts of dicot seed. Seed coat, fruit wall, aleurone layer, endosperm, scutellum, coleoptiles, plumule, radicle coleorhizae and embryo.
