I. Objectives:
DAY 1
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to :

1. Name the specialized structures of terrestrial plants.


2. Name the specialized structure of aquatic plants.

Directions: Read each statement carefully. Choose the correct answer inside

C. Lesson Proper:
Terrestrial plants are plants that grow on land. Some terrestrial plants are small, others
are big. There are plants with big trunks. Others have soft stems. Some plants bear
flowers. Others do not.
Banana trees, Coconut tress, orchids, ferns and sunflowers are examples of Philippine
terrestrial plants. Terrestrial plants is one of part in terrestrial ecosystem.
Aquatic plants is also referred to as hydrophytes. These plants can only grow in water.
Others grow in soil saturated with water. Both aquatic and terrestrial plants have special
structures. These structures give them support and for protection
