Motivation
The teacher will check the pupils’ prior knowledge about the new topic by giving an
activity .The teacher will give activity.

Presentation
The teacher will present the lesson through slides about the effect of environmental factors
on plant growth.
Discussion:
The teacher further explains and discuss the background information .
Have the pupils master the concept.
The teacher will present video clips with regards to the topic.
Water-The roots of the plants absorb water from the soil, and this helps them stay strong
and grow big.
Sunlight-Plants use sunlight to make their own food through a process called
photosynthesis.
Air- They breathe in carbon dioxide from the air, and in return, they release oxygen. This
process is important for the plant's health and for the air we breathe.
Nutrients- These are special things that plants take from the soil through their roots.
Nutrients help plants stay healthy and make sure they have everything they need to grow
well.
C. Generalization:
The teacher will ask the pupils if they understand the lesson. The teacher will discuss
how environmental factors impact plant growth.
D. Application:
The teacher will give sample data to the class and divide the class into three groups. They will
interpret the data on the effect of the water on plant growth and introduce the activity. The
teacher will provide guide questions bout the activity. Each group will report their output and
the teacher will give follow up discussion.
