2. Look at this chart (also called dicothomous key): 1 2 3 Is it green or does it have green parts? Could be a plant or a protist, or blue-green bacteria. Make sure that the green is really part of the organism, though. An animal might have eaten something green, for example. Could be a moneran (bacteria), protist, fungus, or animal. Yes - go to 2 No - go to 3 Single-celled? go to 6 Multicellular? PLANTAE.

Single-celled - go to 4 Multicellular - go to 5 Yes - PROTISTA. Could be a moneran or a protist. Can you see any detail inside 4 No - MONERA. It should the cell (nucleus, organelles, etc)? be very small. Yes - ANIMALIA. Structure should be complex. Feeding 5 Animalia or Fungi. Is it moving? activity may be obvious. No - FUNGUS. Read it and translate those words that you dont know. Use a dictionary or ask to the teacher if you have any doubt. 3. Choose one vertebrate, one invertebrate, one plant, one fungus, one protest and one monera and describe them. Add as many sheets as you consider. a. Make a drawing or put a photograph, indicating its parts (legs, tail, seeds, nucleus, etc) b. Indicate the type of nutrition in each case. c. Indicate the type of reproduction. d. Indicate how is its relationship with its environment (if it has eyes or not, if it has adaptations, etc).

4. Choose one of the living being of the previous activity and make a dichotomous key to differentiate it from others of the same kingdom. Make a chart similar to the point 2.

5. Using the microscope. At home, use the microscope from the blog, make a drawing of this instrument indicating its parts. Explain which thing you watch under the microscope.
