Know
,hat do you expect students to know when pro/ect is complete0
How a fossil is formed. How scientists use scientific inquiry to study fossils. How dinosaurs are named. How to use a KWL chart. How to use technology to share information. How dinosaurs became extinct. When and where dinosaurs lived.

Learning Targets Understand

,hat concepts will students have mastery of when the pro/ect is completed0
The prehistoric world of the Mesozoic Era was very different from our own. Not everything that lived in the Mesozoic Era was a dinosaur. Dinosaurs and people did not live at the same time. The type of food eaten by a dinosaur can be known by the kind of teeth it had. Fossils help to know that there was prehistoric life. Through writing students will have accumulated knowledge of dinosaurs. Reading Skills: The ability to read and understand directions on a worksheet. Writing Skills: The ability to copy names and write short responses.

Do (Learn
,hat will students be able to do as a result of this knowledge and understanding0 1se technology like 2logster.com to present content 3ollaborate using technology like todaysmeet.com 3reate a diorama of dinosaurs and their habitat. 4resent information gathered by using organi$ation charts# graphs# or diagrams using 5icrosoft 6ffice or 7xcel. 1se a directed variety of media for learning activities. 7xample8 Smart board# document camera# internet 9emonstrate saving and retrieving a file to-from a specified# existing folder with assistance. 7xample8 :rom the server to the server# to a web site.
